An advert for Sonera, created by Leo Burnett, featuring the Clash song "I Fought the Law and the Law Won". Sadly this advert was banned by the UK regulators.

This advert got banned i think because there was some stuff such as trying to eat the snake and the part with the kid crashing into the boxes and stair surfing and the slideing on the glass being pulled by the dog and some of the stuff the kids do like them playing with the kid with the blind fold so i think that is the reason the ad got banned:).

What was this ad banned for, then? The pissing in public? Or the driving a car? Or the racism? Or the cross-dressing? Or just the general danger they were putting themselves in? Seems to me like if someone makes an ad where children are taking such risks, it's ridiculous to not allow that hard word to be seen. Good ad, as well.

I think the ad was banned because it was deemed to set a bad example to children (I guess mainly the driving a car & stair-surfing). It's mostly stuff that many of us do as kids though.
I'm don't understand how the ad could be seen as racist???
