Title: 亡我郷、反魂蝶、その華開花すること能わず
Artists: Morrigan & NOC
Circle: WAVE
Album: ARCHIV-EAST
Original: 幽雅に咲かせ、墨染の桜 ~ Border of Life (Bloom nobly, cherry blossoms of Sumizome ~ Border of Life)

You guys have to understand, that if you request my most epic *insert name of theme here* I WILL give you the most epic *insert name of theme here* whether you guys have heard it or not.
This playlist, without number 60 and this is a total garbage, since when you say the word "epic touhou songs" these are the first 2 that come to mind, not only that, these are the two most epic songs in the whole Touhou music fandom.

I was in a slight dilemma as which arrange to upload, thinking that you guys might have heard this one already and wouldn't be all that satisfied, well I still think this song is needed on this playlist because, as I said earlier, without it the playlist has no meaning.

I'm sure I'm not the only that's speechless since the first time I've heard this. As much as I hate Latin as a language I have to say that it's the best language to provide epic lyrics. Yes, those lyrics are in Latin, and since it's been requested here they are:

------
"Per aspera
ad astra
Nemo ante mortem beatus
Anteoccupatio.
Alea jacta est, Mors certa, hora incerta.
Cognosce te ipsum.
Divide et impera, Vive hodie.
Natura duce nunquam aberrabimus.
Dii a nullo videntur, ipsi autem omnia vident.
Petite et accipietis,
pulsate et aperietur vobis.
Forsan et haec olim meminisse iuvabit,
Disce gaudere.
Petite et accipietis,
pulsate et aperietur vobis.
Ignoranti quem portum petat,
nullus ventus est."
------

And, here's a good translation by kendansa (thank you!):

"To the stars through hardships.
Nobody is blessed before takes them.
The die is cast, death is certain, the time is uncertain.
Know yourself.
Divide and force, live today.
We will never wander with nature as our guide.
They were seen by none godly, however, all were seen themselves.
Seek and you will receive,
be beaten and you will be laid bare.
Perhaps one day we will look back on these things,
learn to rejoice.
Seek and you will receive,
be beaten and you will be laid bare.
The wind is never favorable for those who do not know where they are going."

I really do hope that one day I can look back on this video and rejoice...

Anyways, I'll add in my usual prayer and plea for Morrigan: "MORRIGAN!!! WHERE ARE YOU IN THESE TIMES OF NEED!!!!"
The first guy to actually use a full chorus, compose epic latin lyrics and arrange one of the most beautiful Touhou songs to ever have existed. But, why, I ask you why, didn't he make it just a bit longer?
Yes, Border of Life is one (if not the number one) of the most beautiful, emotional, amazing, epic, and all those other amazing adjectives you can think about, songs ZUN has ever composed. I'll admit it guys, I cried a lot the first time I heard the original, seriously, I don't give a damn if a theme is overused, or overrated, if it is overrated there's a VERY GOOD DAMN REASON it is.

Infinite Yuyuku images are not enough to express how awesome this arrange is, but when I saw that image with Yuyuko's giant fan, I thought it fit the song the most.

"Nothing lasts forever."
