Toneport UX2 Demo - Walk Solo - Dimebag - Pantera -

Cover of the late great Dimebags Walk solo using a Toneport UX2. This vid aint so much about nailing the solo as about showing you can get good tone cheap. The UX2 is only about £100 and you can get virtualy any tone you want! Sure the Les Paul prob helps , but every guitar i've tried sounds really good. I'll post Metallica and Megadeth tone examples soon. \m/

I'm using UX1 and I have a Gibson LP Standard and I still can't get this sound. Which amp are you using? I'm playin on some little crappy marshall, I guess that's the reason. Btw. Dude, you nail every solo you play. Being humble is a great virtue,but pls don't apologies for your playing cos there's no reason for it.

@P0tjeh You're too kind mate! I dont try to be humble, i just got a pretty good handle on the truth! lol!

Im sure the ux1 and ux2 are the same tonally, but the ux2 has more inputs and outputs. I recorded it directly into my PC, so i didnt need to use a real amp. Pretty sure it was the line 6 insane amp model that i used. To get a good lead tone, dial all your REAL amp settings in the middle position, maybe crank the gain a bit, and throw on some reverb or delay. Your fingers will do the rest
