I've got a love & hate relationship with the blues. There's nothing which can touch me more than a good blues song (except for some gospelmusic) but there's also nothing which annoys me more than third-rated would-be B.B. Kings or Jimi Hendrixes who are messing on their guitar just to show how great they are. I hate that! But this is great. Bobby Bland is the greatest Bluessinger up till these days

Sorry ''demoradio'' it's Bobby ''Blue'' Band circa 1960 on the Duke label from Memphis, with the great Joe Scott band and I think Wayne Bennett on guitar.
Bobby did of course hang around Beale Street with B.B King and recorded with him later.
King's style is different from Bland in that BB's was nearly all guitar led with sometimes small sax type combos,Blands was just his voice and big(ish) bands. He's still performing.Check him out.
