@nwoga not an apperance. They are one of the seven main characters. A lot of times they have their own side adventures or just one of them do. They are, in my opinion, the funniest characters on the show. Abed is funny without Troy but not as much. Troy is rarely funny without Abed though. But of course he is hysterical whilst with him.
