just amazing authentic! wondering, how many of the people in the house did realize the greatness of this saxplayer... michael, we will never forget you and playing our stuff in a way, that hopefully would make you smile...

No need for the entire show. That was more than enough!

anyone know when this originally aired...i'm thinking either 1989 or 1990 but idk

I remember seeing this show when I was in high school begging my parents to let me stay up late on a school night. HA!
Brecker played often and could be heard before and after commercial breaks. I believe he played "Isn't She Lovely" as an instrumental before a commercial and completely killed it. Do you have the entire show?

Love how he plays bop lines so fast you can't even tell he's doing bop.

Haha classic Brecker.
Brecker is unbelieveble.
No one can play like him.
It nearly breaks my Heart that I never heard this genius live :-(((

Too bad Michael Brecker didn't sit in often on the show with the world's most dangerous band. Was Michael featured during the musical segment of the show? If so, can you please post?
RIP- Michael Brecker, you are sorely missed in the music community!! :(
