It has nothing to do with how it's being played. It's the fact that in the demo, the game isn't glitching every five seconds, Connor's free running is a lot smoother, and the cut scenes look more genuine, along with the frame rate not lagging. All of these things are in the actual game, this demo version is everything the final game should have been.
