i just read on autobloggreen that they are trying to kill of the Tesla car like they did with the EV (ref: who killed the electric car)....do a google search and show support for electric cars **this is NOT spam** show support for EVs before they are killed off again

hey Gav! here is an idea. cd players suck a lot of juice why not just get an old cd player tape cassette thing and plug it into a mp3 player? or use a fm transmitter? or buy a cd player with an input jack? i have the later and never use the cd player. thanks for these vids the "life after conversion" is an un-videoed realm.

can i use only one charger to charge all of the batteries ?

probably cost more to park it on a city steet than it does to drive it.

TO THOSE POSTING ABOUT USING ELECTRIC TO CHARGE: YOUR electric is ON NOW and will be, you think nothing of turning on lights, plugging in a space heater;THE ELECTRIC is going to be used or wasted-IT CANNOT BE STORED (except in the batteries of your car!) Lame to use that to use MORE energy in the form of petrol/gas/diesel just when you are using MORE electricity to post that, read and watch this and COMPLAIN?!?!?!? Get real!

GREAT video! nice effect near the waterfront drive with the reflection on the side of the car. YOUR videos have motivated me to complete the conversion of our Toyota RAV4 to an EV. Keep them coming please!
Home many kilometres you have done EV to the clock?

So far it's around 1700km which is somewhere around 1,100 miles (and counting).
Mymessagetomark: no this old clunker never had air conditioning or power steering. Maybe the next one... :)

What kind of cop car is that?

Most of the police here drive them, they're called a "Holden Commodore". They look cool but they're thirsty cars. I dread to think what the NZ police fuel bill is.

May I ask what the name of that song is toward the end. It's really good.

Sure thing, it's called Girls & Boys by British band Blur. The lyrics are a bit out there but the tune is pretty cool. Thanks for the comments too. :) I get a lot of attention with that T-shirt!
