@Prunesqualer - That is a good point. I am not sure, but there sure were in a hurry to get out. It still took 6 months to bring home 500,000 troops. Perhaps this is the type of video more Israeli citizens need to see before Iran becomes the next toxic dump. I think that plundering these nations of their resources is one reason for the wars, but now I think a severe hatrred of the people that live there is also guiding the military actions, which come from anti arab civilian bosses.

The reason for addressing wounds involving depleted uranium (DU) is that this substance - like lead and vanadium and cadmium and much else - is a heavy metal toxin. Such foreign matter should be removed because of its chemical reactivity (a problem not much associated with steel alloy fragments, and for the purpose of removal it's actually more detectable by way of intraoperative scintigraphy during surgical debridement.

The military medical establishment needs to be sued for malpractice.
