The VA is for veterans who have *EARNED* their medical benefits through service to our country.

Single-payer gives benefits to people who have not earned it, and by bringing tens of millions of people into the system while not increasing the number of doctors (using Canada as an example, 40% of doctors would either retire or limit their practice, which further thins availability of care). This inevitably results in diminishing quality of care, rationing, and raising cost of care

The book OBAMANOMICS by Tim Carney gives a wealth of sourced evidence to back the notion that corporations have campaign finance and lobbyist control of both parties.

But never has there been a feeding frenzy of corporate welfare like there is under Obama.

Two chapters detail Pharmacy and HMO influence. Both Obamacare and single-payer would give a state-sanctioned monopoly to corporations, drive smaller competitors out, raise cost and diminish quality of care.

Being against socialized medicine is the same as being against the VA - against our soldiers and therefore is unpatriotic. Are you a traitor and a coward? If you arent, stand up for the people and do what is in all our best interest. Thats all that is asked of you and in this case, the choice is clear. Give us an option, a public option and give us a choice.
