Actually, Imitation IS against the law, hence why she gives credit where credit is due. You need permission from the artist/choreographer, & the label that claims copyrights it to use a song or dance routine for personal gain. Beyonce (& her label) followed all of those rules. The routine in the video is original, but it was INSPIRED by Bob Fosse's work. Not "stolen". People need to get that straight.
look there is a saying in the artistic world "Imitation is the highest form of flattery". In the art world emulation/imitation is the norm. ITS OK TO DO!! its not against the law and Beyonce even gives credit where its due. Not to mention the dance was finally flawlessly shot in ONE TAKE!! im not reall a fan of her music but i have high respect for her dancing skillz
