I know it's silly, but I keep noticing that they've been using old school speed wrenches throughout this series. I think I'll use my Pop's old speed wrench the next time I work on my car as a tribute:-)

It's a pity the earlier footage didn't include Old Number One (the crash of which was played regularly in the court case surrounding the car, so I know footage of it racing exists). I'm guessing there were licensing issues, as Pathe footage from this era was also not used. It's also interesting how the presentation (music and voice-over) seems styled after the newsreels of the day, rather than a more modern documentary. If I have a complaint, it's the guy uses "Titan" rather too often.

Great Video. Although I was hoping to see footage of nuvolari winning on 3 wheels and a hub, but u can't get everything u wish for. GREAT VID.

This video was posted from europe and may be on servers based there. All of us on youtube occasionaly find viseos that are slow. It's often due to distance rather than connection. I have spent hours trying to get the best frame rate for these videos and the quality gets better with time. Please wait for the rest.
