I had this surgery twice in the past 3 months, i had to get both sides of both big toes removed. And it's not that bad...welll the shots are very uncomfertable, and a little painful, the rest of the surgery is barely noticable. But the worst part is after the surgery....if you dont have advil, be ready for a shitload of pain lol

@joha9314 Dont worry, the ownly painful bit is the injection.. Which you only feel enter. im 15 and i had it done about a year ago now :)

I need to get this done soon. I'm watching this and getting dizzy while doing so. Was this painful? Because it looked painful...

this is the worst surgery ive ever had. the shots are terrible and it feels like your toe is turning into a balloon from the numbing medication they inject all the way down to your bone. ive had this down twice...once at the hospital and once at a podiatrist and they were both bad experiences..the hospital was worse though i must say.

thanks for uploading this i have an ingrown toenail and after watching this it doesn't look that painful i say that about a lot of surgeries :)

@lh12tree I'm glad you've found this video as a sort of inspiration to you. The needles that were not depicted in this video were probably the worst in the whole surgery process including the recovery. I should also have the post op video up soon as well so you should definitely check it out.
