OK! So im starting to Experiment with Upgrades on the Axial Wraith. I am going for a mix of Speed and Torque. But not for Crawling! I want a speedier trail truck that can do bigger jumps as a buggy!

I think the versatility of this rig is just starting to be explored .. and there are a lot of AMAZING rigs to come from people around the world!

For my Motor and ESC upgrade, of course I went with a Tekin Product. a RS ESC and 13.5 Motor Combo. After I told them what I was going to do, they sent me a 13t Rotor Upgrade to add more torque. More information is available on www.Teamtekin.com

Now I can use my 3S 5450 3s Lipo Battery I have from MaxAmps..

The Tires I choose are the HPI Grabbers. I choose these because of the Width of this top heavy rig. They are sitting on Proline Rims 2.2 Bead locks.

By softening up the suspension, and by a bit of practice in driving this beast.. i know I will find a happy setup!

Medic. You execute you vids very well. I just bought a axial wraith build kit yesterday. The build kit is way better than the rtr. Softer tires aluminum lower links ,black racing seats , better not great drive shaft, softer springs, and better drive axles. I will upgrade all internal gears to aluminum or hd steal, and get beadlock wheels. The hunt and waiting for upgrade parts is so worth the wait. I love RC. Vids coming soon.

i recently bought a wraith kit thinking there would be a little more power and torque . can you please give me a detailed description of the motor i should buy to add speed !!!

That motor combo costs as much as the wraith does !!

As far as upgrades i put the 2.8 Desperado wheels with the Trencher tires, wheels being all rears. The hex hubs are 12mm which is the same as Traxxas so the four you get for like the Stampede 4x4 is the same as the Wraith, you just have to get either the black or grey Traxxas hubs otherwise you would have to do some drilling on your wheels to get the Axial hub to fit the wheel. This upgrade alone gave me more stability because of the extended width and a lower center of gravity.
