Daytime television talk shows have never been known for giving the most reliable information to the public. A show called "The Doctors" is no exception.

I'm going to go over a segment of the show that aired on the 12th of January 2011.

The segment is about the proposed circumcision ban in San Francisco California. This bill would ban non-consensual genital cutting of minors when there is no immediate medical necessity. This bill is intended to protect minors, and does not ban medically necessary or adult consensual surgeries.

The clip begins with Doctor Drew Ordon making a horrible case for his position. Dr. Drew, you will henceforth be known as Doctor Fallacy.

Let's begin.

CC men tend to have less warning. Donโ€™t kid yourself on the TV doctors. They are telling people what they want to hear and reinforcing existing biases. CC guys love๏ปฟ to hear that cc is great and females prefer cc guys. Females love to hear that their cc husbands/boyfriends are better off being cc. I think the poster did a great job of debunking the quacksโ€™ uneducated opinions.

"- but you said that you would try to protect new generations of๏ปฟ boys, and winning hearts and minds would be the way to do that."

As would opening the door to expression; the *full* measure of our rightfully enraged expression.

You're like f0s; I can appreciate that. It's just the other side of our coin. You guys are the calm and cool mixed with rationale. I'm the one who has to let people hear the massive anger mixed with rationale.

    Take care (yes that's sincere).

I don't have a problem with it and I'm not saying that you're not entitled to be upset, but you said that you would try to protect new generations of boys and๏ปฟ winning hearts and minds would be the way to do that.

Not here to win hearts or minds; never was. Here to state the point of view of the angry outraged male. Women spent a lot of time telling us forced male circ was no big deal. Pissed me off๏ปฟ and I responded to who knows how many. Likewise when I see a woman telling men how to deal or feel about it afterward, it's going to piss me off. I don't tell women how to feel about a mastectomy. Not here to make friends if you have a prob with it Ron.

Using anger to motivate you can probably work, but๏ปฟ you have to remember that you're not going to win hearts and minds by being overly hostile.

We the forcibly cut can NOT fix ourselves.๏ปฟ This damage stays with us to our dying day. But we use our ANGER and our NON-forgiving, to try to protect new generations of boys.

I'd say fuck off again but, *hey*, go fucking *forgive* yourself.

your statement "harboring hate and refusing to forgive has the same affect in nearly all situations"

People have been wronged for generations and certainly found the same violators doing the same over and over despite outcries. You want๏ปฟ to feel good.. all touchy feely; big warm fuzzy feeling like you're some counselor to others. Anger is a valid and productive emotion. Someone cut your cunt up as a child so you can't feel or function properly, and you're going to forgive them? Bullshit FO

You are right, it wasn't done to me. But there are common seams๏ปฟ in life- harboring hate and refusing to forgive has the same affect in nearly all situations. I haven't been through this- but we all have a story to tell. Everyone has been hurt in a way that leaves them with the choice to forgive or not.

Harboring hatred & refusing to forgive ends up doing more damage to the person harboring those feelings than to the one they're aimed at. He will only end๏ปฟ up stewing in all his anger, which in turn will conjure a lot of pain, shame, anger, and suspicion. Of course, he has every right to live that way. No one is discounting that what they did was wrong. IF you ever become a parent I hope your children are forgiving of any stupid decisions you make.
