I think that is a false dichotomy between Imperialism and Isolationism. We shouldn't limit ourselves that way.

there was a time when the entire Europe and europeans were know as Romans. there is a rivival of that, nothing to do with Pope or catholoism but the rivival of the Roman Repulic. look at the Foriegn and Immigration policy of US and Britain. just like the Romans. it seems like every one caccasion are gonna be on board.

True, but he was DEAD ON TARGET with regard to Pakistan (or so it appears, so far). A long-time Indian friend of mine predicted that Obama's goal would be to destroy Pakistan.

But, I think that the smart "conspiracy" theorists have a very good purpose: Keep us (and our government) on our toes; keep us WATCHING, whether what they're saying is true or not.

The not so smart conspiracy theorists, and especially the loons, are ghost writers for the government. What better way to defeat political dissent than to infiltrate it and make everyone look stupid.

There are also excellent authors who will twisted and change the final conclusions of their books to oppose political dissent. Another very effective way to infiltrate, divide, and conquer. With unlimited clandestine operations funding, you can do anything you want.

which one is it? Communism, Marxism, capitalism, socialism, Muslim, imperialism, neocon etc? Which one is it that this nation wants, the historian has been proven wrong by the US not installing weapons for the polish against the wishes of apparently alot of americans. I don't know anymore, every bodies conspiracy is just wrong and does not add up. How about lets just agree we have a united states of corporate America. Until this nation chooses whether it wants to be imperialist or isolationist.
