Track 5 from the 1973 album "If It Was So Simple" by Longdancer. This was recorded to computer from the original vinyl LP.
Longdancer was Dave Stewart, Kai Olsson, Steve Sproxton & Brian Harrison and they recorded 2 albums "If It Was So Simple" in 1973 and "Trailer For A Good Life" in 1974. They were signed to Elton John's Rocket Record Company, but were not very successful. Dave Stewart & Annie Lennox formed bands The Catch and The Tourists before they became Eurythmics.

My favourite from that album and an all time favourite. Particularly like the 'shared parts' ~ not quite question/response (itchycoo park, with a little help from my friends) which has'nt been a feature of songs for decades. Liked the single at the time 'If It Was So Simple', which is why I bought the album. Surprised you didn't put it up ~ maybe too 'evangelical'!
