NO HUMAN "needs" meat, so it´s quite pointless question. your husband just clearly doesn´t want to give up meat, so he tries to come up with any excuse to justify eating animals...

Why is everybody obsessed with the protein..? It leeches calcium out of our bones-here we go osteoporosis! Plant protein is much healthier anyway... But does anyone actually know how much we need? According to the FDA only 5-10% of our calories need to come from protein. Which is wayyyy less than a typical Western eater consumes. Kay that is all.

Egg laying is chicken menstruation, honey is bee vomit, artificial insemination is rape...
I can tell this lecture/presentation was written for young kids!!

It is a great question. As a vegan I still wouldn't eat it - but it is probably okay from a morality point of view.

... it takes a few years for them to mature to the point where they will actually sit on their eggs, and we keep our chicks, whether they grow to be boys or girls!

What if you have free range chickens and eat their eggs? When my girls sit on their eggs, we leave them to do that (we want to see some baby chicks!)

Our bodies don't do the same things they used to. We don't roam the earth chasing foods, we have jobs and live in houses. What we ate half a million years ago is nearly irrelevant to what is best for us to eat now.

I have a question what happens if they let animals die naturally and they after confirmed dead then they can use their meat! I Mean if someone NEEDED meat ya know is there any one the would do that or is that still wrong! This is a question from my husband!

Protein was essential for survival during the ice age though buddy. They didn't have "kidney beans, quinoa and other seeds" so give a guess what they had to eat? As for today, we eat meat and dairy products for the nice and interesting tastes that plain old vegetables simply don't have. You like having a vegan lifestyle? Good for you but the more you try to shove it down our throats, the more people are going to dislike you and perceive you as nothing more than liberal hippy douches.

Go to the desert and start eating some cactus's then. And I also had liver before if you must know. Doesn't taste great but its very good for you. It has loads of Iron. You should try it sometime. But just remember one thing buddy. If it wasn't for meat, our ancestors would have died out during the ice age and trust me, they spared no body part.
