Pastor gets another impromptu question. Are Christians asking for all of God or just some to fit in their mold of life?

  • you do, and how you treat others. Christianity was not designed to be a religion, but a way of thinking and an attitude. The way the average Christian speaks makes Christianity a religion, and it is the religious aspect that makes Christians so obnoxious so often. Lets face it. If we all treated each other the way we wished to be treated, the world would be a pretty peaceful place.

  • Are you aware of what a Christian was originally? A Christian was not a believer in God, believe it or not. The early Christians were simply people who treated others as they wished to be treated. This is coupled with the Jewish belief in a monotheist God and honouring "your God", This is typified by Jesus parable of the Good Samaritan, a people of mixed religion and race. Jesus makes the point here that it doesn't matter whether you believe in God or not (preist, Levite) what matters is what...
