Growing up Ugly: Heart to Heart

From reading your messages and comments, I know there needs to be change. I was hesitant to do such a "raw" video, but if it helps one person, then it's worth it for me.

We all feel ugly. We do, because makeup companies tell us we need to look a certain way in order to "fit in". I love YOUTUBE because I am able to look like myself, just the way I was created, without feeling like I have to change anything about me.

You are BEAUTIFUL. Beauty=how you feel about yourself. That's all it is. If you feel beautiful, you are beautiful. That's why I love this quote,

"If you think you're gorgeous, then you are. If not, chalk it up to a bad hair day and call yourself gorgeous anyway".

If you do feel ugly, (as I have, for many many years) realize it's only a phase and it will go away! Do whatever it is that makes you feel beautiful-whether it's hanging out with positive people, doing a hobby you love, making Youtube videos, etc. do it because people will notice.

Oh my god this video made me cry. When you're sitting there so open and honest, let me tell you, you are at your MOST beautiful. Thank you for this. My daughter doesn't have acne problems, but she has suffered through being bullied for the past 1.5 years which has destroyed her selfesteem. This gives me hope that you can bounce back from such devistation. It got so bad that we have moved and she starts a new school on Monday. I am hoping she will start with a positive attitude and hold her head up. She used to take good care of herself and since the bullying she no longer does, she just wants to be invisible. Thank you

Im just recently realizing that everyone is beautiful, sure makeup is nice, but its just like icing on the cake. Cake is still fucking delicious, with or without icing, am I right? When I look at myself now, I realize that I need to focus on the positives, and don't get down about any negatives. Being a negative nelly gets you nowhere in life.

Ur not ugly at all......I mean yes u are very gorgeous with makeup but makeup only hides ur blemishes, that's it. You can't be ugly without makeup than all of the sudden be gorgeous with makeup,,,,it's ur beautiful features!!! I have gorgeous full lips, a perfect jaw line, and cute nose. Now, you say that you're not naturally beautiful and what not, but the truth it, you *are* beautiful. You just have some skin issues. But you have beautiful eyes and a gorgeous smile. I'm a teenager, and I have a Chinese friend (not lying here). She is so proud of her being Asian and she refers to herself as Asian. Other people don't look at my personality, they only look at my face. I have acne and I'm not that pretty, but it doesn't matter to me. I don't listen when people call me ugly.

I live on a very Asian island so i have absolutely no problem with Asians. My best friend is Chinese and almost half of my classmates are Korean... I am so happy that you have pushed past all of that negativity to become your absolutely beautiful and gorgeous self :D
