Hello Robert! That was really something! I am very much into this type of musical expression! Great job! Joey Vaughan "World Blues Attack"

Beautiful. Is that a 33in scale W & T bass ?

Thanks man.
I totally agree with you.Of course it's normal to find people trying to put you down because your music or playing doesn't reflect anything they can connect with their mental cliche'..but thankfully there's still be open minded people.I believe that consistency with ourself in music is the key, and when I recorded this "Solea" I was true with my self at that time so this is why I get so pissed off from people like Y2H.
Cheers

what i can say after what i read about the conversation with Y2H is that keep up what you are doing, because music don't have limits, music is what we feel and what our soul sing not our brains, great job and keep up what you are doing we are looking alwayse for new melody and new stuff to work and to progress what music can offre us.
pretty, but I don't understand why you call it solea if you are not in compas of solea

Good question ;) I was inspired by this open intro's you can hear often in Flamenco and a friend suggested the title..Also this video is some kind of improvisation around many ideas I was practicing at that time, not really too connected with each others but somehow they make a sense together(at least to me...;) ) and I know that many flamenco singers does the same, improvising ideas on the spot that are not always connected..so the title made sense..Thanks for your comment!!Rob

where did you pick up your flamenco techniques? Anyone you'd suggest checking out? Amazing playing!

Hi Adam, sorry for the late replay.Well I don't really consider my technique a real Flamenco one..but if you are interested in learning the real flamenco approach and way to play I would recommend Carles Benavent, he's my favorite in this style.
Thanks a lot for your comment!

Unbelievable. Do you ever play fretless?

Thanks Juls, I play fretless but just occasionally, I should probably do it more.
