"Sheikh Vs Imam" is a 90 minutes documentary fashioned for cinema screening and subtitled to many different languages, to introduce to the world an icon of rebelling and strife against oppression and one of the world's pioneers in political music; Sheikh Imam Eissa. The blind composer, oud player and singer was very popular among the middle class in the 1960's, and his music still lives inside all Egyptians.

يعني انا متعود من مناويشي لما يشخبط بقلمة تلاقي فن فاكنت واثق لما عرفت انه بيحضر فيلم عن الشيخ أمام انه حيطلع فيام جميل وفيه فن بس لما شوفت البروموا لقد فاق التوقع كل هذا الجمال والابداع بجد مصر كسبانة مخرج رائع متمكن جدا من أدواتة وهو مش محتاج مني أقول كدة بس الكلام ده لازم يتقال فيلم شكله بديع من أول فرام من قول صوت تحية حاره وشكر لكل القائمين على هذه الملحمة الابداعية وبالاخص لعزيزي مناويشي فنان جامد والله ديما ياصديقي
