"ID seems plausible"? no it doesn't. ONLY uneducated or very few qualified but delusional people think that ID is plausible.

IN FACT: flying pigs is as plausible as ID.

Quite easy to prove that your ID nonsense is as plausible as flying pigs. wanna see? all i have to ask is: why do you think, what evidence is there, to make you think that ID is more plausible than flying pigs?

"investigating the supernatural"...thing is...there is NO supernatural "stuff" to investigate. none.

  • @ZeusHelios

So...if a person comes up to you and asks for 30 million dollars in order to research if carpets can actually talk, based upon NO evidence at all, but solely a thought fart, you would give that money to that person?

you would allow a team of qualified people to stop their research about, let's say: AB resistance, and instead pursue the "idea" that carpets may talk, is that right?

apply the same reasoning to ID. ID is fantasy and already disproven.

Fortunately, science doesn't operate by including all things that can't be eliminated from the possibilities.

MAgic pixies MAY be stearing the electrons that are bouncing around inside your computer right now.

Good science isn't going to consider that possibility.

    Intelligent design is no better.

  • @odinata Of course evidence would be required to prove one thing or another. Also If there is no evidence for a claim of something be it a natural phenomena or supernatural one should not be a reason not to investigate it and find evidence for it if any to establish if its true or not

  • @ZeusHelios

No one has ever claimed to have seen god design the universe.

They have been persuaded by the dogma, and then attempted to JUSTIFY their religious belifs by making it sound scientific.

They might as well claim that pigs can fly.

There is no science in "intelligent design".

    Sorry.

  • @odinata I doubt that anyone has ever suggested that thier are flying pigs. unless they were using some kind of drug at the time. I am trying to stick with what people have claimed from what they have seen, heard or experienced etc. Its those things I'm saying have more of a valid possiblity and should not be ignored but at some point be investigated for any truth. Obviously some supernatural things will have a natural course Others may have another explanation yet to be understood.

  • @ZeusHelios

"But other people may argue there is."

It doesn't matter what you argue if you can't provide some evidence that pigs can fly.
