I'm relieved that I'm not the only one who thought this game was scary. :D I first played this game when I was fairly little... Man was I freaked out.

i know ima sound like a geek but idc im 23 now n i havent played this game since i was in elementary school back in 1999 this brings back memories alright i used 2 get stumped for hours running around with no clue but one day i promise 2 beat this game lol thanks 4 posting it all im gonna watch them all :)

Cerebral games like this one where there is wonder, adventure and intellect are so much better than the shooter games which are all the same.

I remember this game! I use to play this game with my dad when I was little. My dad passed away 10 years ago. I found the old Myst journal with his handwriting not too long ago. I put that in a safe place. :)

@chris84bloom What's cool is that it's not scary because of death, threats, or anything extremely exciting.

It's the fact you're alone in a mysterious and rather haunting world that sets the fear.

Riven (the sequel) does that even more.
