  • Cerebral games like this one where there is wonder, adventure and intellect are so much better than the shooter games which are all the same.

  • Oh my good it looks so bad. Not one of the better aged relics of the gaming past ;/

  • I remember this game! I use to play this game with my dad when I was little. My dad passed away 10 years ago. I found the old Myst journal with his handwriting not too long ago. I put that in a safe place. :)

  • I had this game when I was like 12 and could never figure out what I was supposed to be doing, what exactly is the point of this game?

  • @chris84bloom What's cool is that it's not scary because of death, threats, or anything extremely exciting.

It's the fact you're alone in a mysterious and rather haunting world that sets the fear.

Riven (the sequel) does that even more.

  • @demidon117 You can get the Myst: Masterpiece Edition and/or the realMyst version, which has another level, From Steam (Google that if you're unfamiliar with it) For $6.

  • @SirDanielG that's pretty awesome!!

  • my dad has a friend who worked on this game

  • @lopaloper Have you SEEN Choose your Nightmare - Night of the Werewolf?

    I recomend RealZero's Lp.
