Nice rig. I've got a HV20 but the firewire recently fried and have been quoted stupid money to fix it. In fact Canon RCC in UK advised me not to bother as repairs are tricky and no guarantee on the main board assuming they could get hold of one. This is the only aspect of Canon HV cameras I dislike - fragile firewire sockets surface mounted on main pcb instead of sub-assembly.
