What cases do plan b build?
just asking as on the website on the homepage they have a plan b modular in an interesting case

@dustytretch
Currently, they are out of production on everything while they regroup, work on some customer relations, and catch up on repair orders. The case you're refering to is probably either the Halliburton Zero case, or the other case that never made it to market, the small ATA style case. Monorocket and ModularWorld make excellent cases as an alternative to Doepfer.

what college course would i take to learn this shtuff?

I'm not sure which schools have modular synths. Classes in Max/MSP and/or Pd (Pure Data by Miller Phuckette), or synthesis techniques could help with the theory as well as making digital electronic music. If you can find "Electronic Music: Systems Technique and Controls" by Allen Strange, it gives a lot of information on analog synthesis.
See if your school has some sort of electronic or experimental music classes (most don't).
Learn by doing too. Paia got me started...

There's no ADSR???
I can't live without my envelopes *cries*

Nope, the Model 10 is an AR envelope generator that makes 4 different outputs (thus polyphonic). It can't hold notes. It's excellent at hits and stabs, not made for piano/organ style playing.
