@kingofallwhites I don't know where you are getting your information from, but I am Black and have stayed at the villages twice so far and did not experience a bit of racism. I met several other Blacks that live there and they love it! Oh and while I was there I also saw quite a few "young" people, although they can not live there, they still enjoy the shopping and events that go on there. I love it and am retiring there myself.....Maybe your eperience was different?

I visited my grandmother with a friend of mine who just happened to be black and boy oh boy did we get some looks. Clutch the purse a little closer. Sit as far away as possible. Cross the street. So disturbing. I felt so bad for him.
I don't think these people have seen a brown-skinned man since their grandparent's bought one...

The place to be when you're white, & right, and Republican! Aaaargh...what a spooky place to be, reminds me of the small towns in "Twilight Zone".
