In June of 2003 the American Film Institue revealed the 100 greatest heroes and villains in American Cinema. The list of the 50 greatest heroes is provided for you here to the song Everybody Wants You by Josh Kelley. Enjoy!

Since this was made in June 2003, the new guys on this list would be: Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean (JULY 2003)), The Bride (Kill Bill Vol.1(OCTOBER 2003)), V (V for Vendetta (2006)), Juno MacGuff (Juno (2007)), and Rooster Cogburn (True Grit (2010) remake).

i feel like gandhi was a better hero than Clarice Starling, she got the guy yeah, but Gandhi inspired a frickin nation through non violence and succeeded. hell of a lot more heroic than starling.
