  • Project Update: I have been using it for few months now and over the last couple of weeks have been doing some fairly heavy and lengthy aluminum welding. I can say without doubt that it works great. After a couple of hours of welding in one setting, the water reservoir wasn't warm at all. The gun remained cool the whole time and I was able to remove the tungsten and reinstall it after sharpening using my bare hands. I am happy with the unit.

  • Cool cooler. I just got my Everlast powertig 250EX and this will be my next project.

I am fooling around with the idea of using compressed air instead of water to cool my torch first though. Will be doing some testing to see if compressed air will work or not.
