Nice, modern station. I'll have to pay a visit one of these days.

No way is the metro 120 metres underground. I use metro all the time, i'd say 20 metres at a push. The tyne pedestrian tunnels escalators, at the time of construction, they were the highest single-rise escalators in the world, with a vertical rise of 85 ft (26 m) and a length of 200 ft (61 m). Haymarkers escalators are not even half of that.

@Edwiness you are right

@CoachAlex1996 Ok, here is proof. The deepest metro station in the world is Arsenalna in Kiev. It is 102m deep. Here is a view of the journey from the entrance to the platforms: 5yi5L5Q58jw

@Edwiness probably, I'll ask metro next time I am in the control centre
-
@CoachAlex1996 Well you're foolish. He's probably getting feet mixed up with metres.
-
@Edwiness hmmmm you have a point however my grandpa built these tunnels and thats what he says so I just take his word for it

@CoachAlex1996 no way is it 120m underground, look how short the escalators are. Stations on the St Petersburg Metro are that deep and they take up to 3 minutes to descend on the escalators.
Very good video, and an awesome station!
