There was total destruction on the coast and the storm knocked down power lines and trees 500 miles inland. To order insurance companies to pay all claims 10 miles inland would have been warranted because "IF" there was a structure left standing it had storm surge and water damage most to the roof or totally submerged . The remaining claims they could have sent adjusters and dealt with them on a case by case basis. Once again the Gop never takes the blame for anything under their rule...

It was the lack of regulation in the insurance industry which allowed them to screw over policy holders with valid claims. Had there been more oversight more people would have gotten what they had been paying premiums on and entitled to. So it was Bush's fault for not ordering the insurance companies to honor all claims within 10 miles of the coast. I live on the coast and lost everything I had insurance and received $7000 on about a $200,000 loss and only $5000.00 from FEMA. Thats fair huh?

Yeah let me tell you, Bush is the reason that we didn't get our money? Come on, don't be so fucking ignorant. My house got f'd up too and I wasn't sitting here blaming Bush and republicans. Typical redneck thing to do. Blame the shady insurance crooks, not BUSH
All the attention was on New Orleans which was totally wrong
