This scene is doubly haunting knowing the experience Marilyn would have with a mental asylum in later life.

Ok. The song Kiss is Marilyn and her lovers song. When he was meant to have killed her husband it was 2 be a signal that it was done. However when she went to the morgue 2 check out the body-it was her lover that was killed. She faints and they sedate her. Here the tune is played at the Belltower (requested by her husband) and it brings her back to consciousness. She now knows her husband is out 2 get her. It was a brilliant film and made MM a bonafide star.
