Rising gas prices is such a hot-button issue for politicians, that no presidential candidate will ever publicly support a gas tax. But could a higher U.S. gas tax benefit the environment, security, economy and innovation in this country? The MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics decided to stage its own mock presidential debate - so that both sides of this issue could finally be addressed. (There are two parts to this video)

  • Umm, I have a question, I am working with the Boy Scouts of America so that they can earn their Communications badge, and they have to watch a debate, and I was wondering if it would be at all possible to show this to them as it is a classic example of a formal debate, and I feel it would help them understand it with out having to bring in current political standings.

  • Please feel free to share this with your boy scout troop. And afterwards, we would love to hear how about how they responded to it.
