when i hear elm street i think of mediocrity

Shall i compare these horror remakes to a summer blockbuster? Thou art not thought out & mostly just an also-ran.. Rough past film-makers still pass muster..Your summer blockbuster hath all too short attention span..

The Thing remake :(

Did he say that he fell asleep in the original or the new one?

This was (and will be) the last horror remake I subject to seeing. These flicks are just awful and don't provide any entertainment. They are all just ugly, stupid, boring and thrill-less sad excuses for horror.

@ninfilms haha your lame, try again without the random nonsense, if you really are "slow" i apologize kid
-
@chessinfantry well I gather you all mouth but no action. Ok maybe I need to have my ass kicked, why don't get in line?

@ninfilms wtf are you talking about? are you fucking retarded, whats wrong with you?.......someone should kick your ass
The Texas remake, The Friday remake, The Hitcher remake, The Prom Night remake, and now the Nightmare remake..all fall under the category of MINDLESS CASH-IN's that DO NOTHING to improve the mythology, all they do is remind us how phenomenal the orginal's were....These remakes won't hold up over time, but the classic's they're based on will live forever in our hearts. They can take our favorite films, BUT THEY'LL NEVER TAKE..OUR FREEDOM TO NETFLIX THE ORIGINALS!!!

Thank you Michael Bay for ruining a brilliant film. Craven's original has universal truths, Jungian archetypes, and true fear at its dark heart. The new film has NOTHING at its heart except a loud, ringing cash till.
