The British government were bastards and tested mustard gas on Australian troops during world war 2 (discussed in a book called keen as mustard). Added to that the british also did nuclear tests on Australian soil, and used Australian soldiers as guinea pigs to test to test the effects of fallout. As if that wasn't bad enough, the American government in the 1960's was planning to test Sarin and VX nerve gas on up to 200 Australian troops..funny how Saddam did the same thing.

The main mistake they made , was to move on from using convicted criminals as the test subjects .The advance of science has always been threatened by religious fanatics , or those with a neurotically based moral system . With computer programs now , usung actual humans in experiments is nearly zero , still in some cases it needs to be done .
