I don't want to be insensitive, but most people overdose because (1: they combine an opiate with other drugs or medication. (2: Heroin is never known what type of dose you are getting. One time may be really weak and the next may be almost pure. (3: they withdrawal off of opiates and when using again think they can take what they use to take.

Im sorrry for your loss! You are not alone. On Nov 15 2010 I lost the most precious person in my life. She knew too much about these drugs , but her knowledge didnt save her. May they Rest In Peace!! Please everyone , stay away from these drugs. Life is to precious!

Having seen what damage can come from the use of drugs and/or alcohol within my own family. I reside to the fact that the strength of an individuals personality can truly be their worst enemy. Thank you to the Gates family for their extraordinary efforts to combat this issue. Like all those who around you I wish your family the strength you will need to continue a successful life of your own from that day forward. Will would be proud.

I'm so sorry for your loss and pain. If this video speaks to one person contemplating using heroin, or any young person, and they hear the message, I hope lives can be saved. Thank you for sharing your story.
