  • is ypas hard to get into

  • as far as dance goes, not really. i think as long as its apparent you have actually been trained in the field you're auditioning for, they'll take you. and if you show you have potential. they just want to see you're willing to try hard and learn.

  • We're learning this in FOD right now. it's hard but i like it.

  • i thought it was really hard. like any modern dance, there arent really counts to go by, you just have to feel it. and thats hard to do as a group. but i loved learning it. a few times i almost cried while doing it. its satisfying to know you've learned it and given your best.

    good luck with it!

  • we learned this in my dance class at school and im using it for a performance piece for ib. at first it was murder and i hated learning it, but the more we did it, the more i loved it. the only bad thing was that at the end of class we were all so dead tired from doing it so many times.

  • haha i know what you mean. i hated that attitude arabesque kicky turny thing(gotta love the terminology). i didn't do it once in class. i always marked it. performing it on stage was the first time i tried it and i really regretted not practicing it cause i looked like a retard.

  • Hi :)

Do you know what's the name of the song used in all the "rainbow etude" video ?

  • these dancers definitely need more weight in their movement. this piece is about a chain gang, suffering, and physical labor, and i can't see that from their dynamics at all. their senses of the rhythm is also way off.

  • i learned this when i was a senior in high school back in 2000. it was an amazing piece that i was the only one in my class who picked it up fairly easy. it was kind hard to keep the time, but it was the best time i've ever had dancing. i had an amazing teacher who was really patient and a great mentor. thatnx for the upload!!

  • haha. i think every time i did it i just kind of flung myself around. i highly doubt i ever actually did it.
