  • I saw this band so many times throughout the 80s. They were astonishing live - a complete sweat drenched celebration every time! They would begin with Hollow Horse, which, for a lesser band, would be peaking too early, but they would produce belter after belter. McNabb must be one of the most neglected pop geniuses of that or any other era. I think they were a little out of time and would have been leading lights of Brit-pop a decade later.

  • Great memories. One of the most under rated bands of the 80s.

  • @thepurplecockney That's great to hear - I missed on the gigs in April because it was during my university term time, so hopefully I can catch them soon, though I've seen Ian live several times and loved it!

  • @Criddington I went to a mcnabb solo acoustic show recently(july 2011),a brilliant gig.

When getting a cd signed afterward I asked him if there were anymore icies gigs planned, and He said ''yes, and with the original line up''.I asked what Chris Layhe was doing and Ian said he was a teacher in Stockport
