I always felt sorry for Vanitas, even though he would probably kill me horribly for daring to pity him. Even though it would be out of character for him to ever be anything but an asshole, I still hope he gets some kind of redeeming ending. Something like telling Xehanort to F off and helping sora kill him, or just fusing with Ven.
