Panelist, Winston Shyam Liaquat Kassim C.M. is Chair of the International Development and Relief Foundation's (IDRF) Board of Directors and Head, Strategic Initiatives, Canadian Banking of RBC, where he has worked in senior leadership positions of strategy, product and sales management, business development, Commercial and Private Banking as well as being a Branch Manager.

Winston brings to IDRF an extensive array of 30 plus years experience in community, economic development, volunteer community involvement, advocacy for groups and individuals, as well as international project development and implementation. He has been a member of numerous boards and community groups and in 2009, he was recognized for his volunteer services as a member of the Order of Canada. In late 2010, he was appointed by the membership of IDRF to serve as its Chair of the Board of Directors. Winston is a Certified Director, as a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D designation).
