Not to be a complete film nerd, but technically this is from the era prior to the company adopting the familiar RKO Pictures ident. RKO was formed in the late 1920s as a holding company umbrella for Radio Corporation of America (RCA) who handled production, Film Booking Offices of America (FBO), handling distribution, and the Keith-Albee-Orpheum theater chain. The holding company was RKO (Radio-Keith-Orpheum), but their movies used the ident for RCA/Radio Pictures through the early 1930s.
The 1st RKO Pictures logo.
