  • The fragment 2:51-3:05 has given me some real creeps... In Guillou's transcription, it is surprisingly the most captivating, too, but the original orchestra version features an undescribable desperate attempt to climb up, a neverending struggle.

    I would not spare a billion lives if the death of a billion would be followed by the advent of Franz Liszt again. I will die with them, too, if only it could bring Liszt's genius back.

  • Liszt wrote everything xD if there is an epic poem, he wrote a composition about it, if there is any symphony for orchestra Liszt arranged it for piano xD
