The reason you've never had a shooting in a NH statehouse and you did at Virginia Tech is that the V.T. shooter knew his victims were unarmed and NOBODY, regardless of how crazy, is STUPID enough to walk into a building where everyone is armed and start trouble. It's that simple.

@hahahaspam, I worked in California schools for over 10 years and she is right about having a procedural policy in place as she described it. The students don't usually practice this procedure, but the staff does.

Keep your gun on you at all times... If you don't like those rules move to a communist state. Iran, China, none of these allow guns.... If one protests they get shot, with no worry of return fire.....

If Columbine had a welcome table, everything would have been different.

Tuscon didn't have signs. The lack of signs (and sarah palin) caused the shooting.

How is a guy supposed to know that killing innocent people en-mass is wrong without a sign a table that says so?

Too bad she wasn't at Tuscon. She could have told Jared that shooting at people is bad and maybe he wouldn't have gone through with it. "Shooting the shooter is a bad thing". LOL.

What she meant to say was, 'Every school has a plan to "lock-down" making the kids sitting ducks in a gun-free zone.' Many of these school shooters were students themselves. They know the plan. They will take advantage of it to maximize the death toll.
