  • @ShandyHall Oh we caught our breath just fine. And this is about as fast as I sing it in my regular church, in fact otherwise it seems too slow to me. And we just sang this again this Good Friday, always a good hymn we sing for the Good Friday service.

  • very very fast. In Catholicism - this a a solemn hymn.

  • I agree, it does seem a bit too fast. And the poor choir barely can catch its breath. 

  • No, I wouldn't say "far too fast". The rich notes of the organ are a delight to the ears and heart!
