The bus drivers in Swindon are excellent, I rarely have any problems.
I think some of them recognise me, I'm very easy to spot.
I do my best not to get in the way, easing off to let them overtake easier and not overtaking them if I know they are going to pull away very soon.
Some of them have even given me the thumbs up for recording car drivers in the bus lane.

@CyclingMikey as you can see with my post's i haven't made one bad word or took the piss in any way what so ever. yeah i like watching the vids and it is good to be shown that there is bad driving out there.

Bus driving like that is rare round here. I used to pull over and let buses pass if I knew one was behind me. They where effing lethal.

@CyclingMikey That's a decent commute,and gives a good idea of how good the average driver is, especially the bus drivers, not that I am that surprised,in the UK I was a Postman on a bike for a while,and did a bit of cycling in my spare time too,from Doncaster through Sheffield to Castleton was a favourite and would say most drivers were good .I have only ridden once a week, on a Saturday or Sunday for last 6 months,I usually do about 50 miles and about 8 of that is on a fenced off cycle path

Not all drivers are prats as shown in this video but with your other videos you make a point of showing just bad stuff rather then the good, just like the press do.

@Mickygemma It's the bad stuff that most people want to change, and it's the bad driving that's usually interesting. Good driving is almost invariably boring to watch.

p.p.s. at least one of the other cyclists from this area who also films, happens to carry a warrant card too.

@TheVexatiousLitigant Almost all bus drivers are like this one on my commute. I have a long 43 mile round trip to the West End, and it should be very evident how few buses appear on my youtube channel despite me encountering at least 50-100 buses every commute.
They are far far better than the average driver, and I'm extremely grateful.
