Joining the ever-popular Focus ST260 conversion, Mountune Performance are pleased to announce the addition of a stainless cat-back exhaust system for both pre- and post-facelift Focus ST.

Like all other Mountune Performance products our Focus ST exhaust can be fitted and used without fear of affecting your existing Ford warranty, and comes with its own 12,000mile/12-month parts and labour warranty, too. In addition, there is a lifetime parts only warranty against any manufacturing defects when retained by the original owner, and fitted to the original vehicle.

The non-resonated exhaust compliments the existing ST260 conversion but can also be used on a standard vehicle to boost audible performance from the engine, and improve the vehicles rear aesthetics. The twin tailpipes feature a laser-etched Mountune Performance logo, and is available from your local Mountune Performance approved dealer, and from Mountune directly, now!

  • Oh, and when i say a lot more cabin noise, i don't mean at cruising speed, but when accelerating, especially uphill, it is head ache inducing!

  • Have you made any further modifications? The cat-back and ST260 combo is far from head-ache inducing and is one of the most civilised on the market.

Also, Kernahan's of Witney are offering the cat-back for £425 at the moment, £479 fitted! So nothing remotely close to £650.

  • Got the MP260 upgrade around 1 1/2 years ago and it totally transferred the car. Turned it into a proper quick car, just ordered the exhaust today can't wait to get it fitted now as it sounds class.

  • does just the exhaust fitting affect insurance?

  • Great sound is that just the catback?or did you record that with a down pipe and sports cat on,the reason I ask is because I've just had one fitted to my st,but to me I can't hear any difference from the standard exhaust yet,is this normal when they are new?

  • I own a 2009 Ford Focus ST3 and am currently looking at the Mountune ST260 package and stainless steel catback exhaust. What upgrades have you put on your Focus? Just the Mountune 260?? It seems over priced for an extra 30bhp? It costs around £1100, What are you thoughts?

  • It does sound really good, but i've got the Mountune engine upgrades on my ST and still have the standard exhaust and i really don't think this new one sounds £500 (probably more like £650 after fitting the thing) better than the original. And there is a lot more cabin noise making it harder to live with but not that much increase on the outside of the car thus not making it much better. And the great thing about the ST is that most of the sound comes out of the engine any way.

  • Sounds great. Are you going to do an upgrade pack for the new focus RS ?
