  • What kind of motor would be best bro or should i just work on the the stock motor

  • @Fadedexecutor well the turbo motor, if you can find one is what i would put in there

  • hey bro im gonna start my own project i got a 81 280zx what should i start doing to it first?? body work or engine work ??

  • @Fadedexecutor well if you do all your motor stuff first you wont have to pull it, or tear down the motor with new paint? That always scares me, I scrated my hood cuz i had to pull the motor.

  • can I please put my penis in your 4 inch exhaust? total respect intended.

  • @type2s13 Thats what I do, so...yes, just clean her up after haha

  • @sweetlikeADAM

you do know that the cam in that car is huge thats why it sound raspy and that car will smoke your little 50hp honda any day

  • I'll hit it

  • I don't think it sounds awesome. Cars that sound like that sound like shit. I'd rather a smooth tone come from an idle.

  • Cool thanx for the info...I had already read some write ups on forums or whatnot but wanted to get some opinions from people running them. Hopefully Ill get mine running by this weekend.

  • @Boizart1 if you're running with fuel injection it will just make your mpg go down but if you have carbs, you have to rejet (and still make your mpg go way down). You will have a certain "power bandwidth" in certain rpms when the car will pull harder. Usually if you are just using your car street, a stage 1 or 2 will be fine. They are both low to mid range "power bandwidth." Stage 3 and greater are usually only for racing purposes. That's a realllllll basic knowledge of cams. Do some research!!!

  • I love the sound of a rough idle...I was thinking of changing my cam...what negative effects can it have on my motor though?? How do I go about choosing one?
