Recently 1995 Neoplan 4518 has been undergoing a transition from regular revenue fleet coach to a Mobile Customer Center to sell TAP cards, and passes at various locations. This was inspired by the New York Metrocard buses.

  • This is pretty calm. Yay!

  • Yeah no respect for these great busses. Many of them are in poor mechanical condition.

  • What was wrong with the NABI Rapid Bus next to it?

  • i love metro and wanna drive for metro nut it hurts hw they threat these series of busses they threat them like the rts b4 they were retire and that was bad shape its sad

  • they got new engines over a year ago.

  • I just notice tha the 5000 series are getting a new engine.

Mostly on like 66 or 51/26

  • yeah for the day passes, you have to either A) Buy a Metro Day Pass from the Ticket Vending Machine at a Rail Station or B) Buy a TAP Card, wich is $2.00, then load a day pass on the bus by inserting your money and then tapping the card on the reader.

  • that is a great idea..

  • thats great, just the other day i was taking the bus to LA and i asked for a day pass and they had none
