Overgrown tongue dude tooling around in the shed...and this hyped soundtrack....
5D video footage looks like video....and what's the deal with sharpening settings? You pay around 2600 for this camera...can mount zeiss N converted lenses on it, and without sharpening, which adds to the video look, the imagery (video mode) looks soft. With a full frame sensor, 1080P, why does someone need to add sharpening? Why aren't the images sharp without it?
People comment on the poor quality of the Nikon D90 videos, but the one's I've seen are mostly hand-held and used like family-movie camcorders. I have not seen a Canon video yet that zooms in and out fast with a moving subject or pans quickly, they are all fixed cameras and, while pretty, scenes are very staged looking--- are there examples of 'casual' hand-held Canon videos shot in comparison to the Nikon? I am genuinely curious to see a 'consumer' grade Canon video.

Wait Wait Wait..
You..
You mounted a 2700 dollar D-SLR to a bike?
No doubt it's safe enough, but.. you wouldn't see me even picking my D-SLR up without a parade of straps to my face, shoulders, and feet..
SAFETY FIRST!! i'm locked into a nice long payment plan.. :D
