@hatfieldadam your exactly right. Jesus speaking to the Jews in John 6:44 say's "No man can come to me,except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day" KJV. How many people have been talked into being saved and not convicted into being saved? What's gonna happen when they face our Saviour and He say's depart I never knew you. Matthew 7:21-23. Without repentance ie turning from our sin and turning to God there is no salvation. Luke 13:1-5.

Demons cannot inhabit a Christian because he has the Holy Spirit in him. However, a Christian can be oppressed.

if u act like a reprobate you never were saved to begin with. a person who is saved seeks righteousness. A christian may fall into sin, but he does habitually live in sin. read I john. i dnt adhere to 1 2 3 repeat after me. if the Holy Spirit was not dealing with you about salvation you did not get saved.

@hatfieldadam listen stupid...loosen up that tie that's choking your ability to get oxygen to your head and listen up...maybe you'll learn something...when you act like a reprobate the holy spirit takes off and then the demon comes in and takes over...there's many explanations of this in the bible..one is that guy that cleaned out his house but later went back into his old sins and 7 demons more powerful than the previous ones came in...you're just an ignorant dumb apostate fundamentalist!

@ReinaValera1865 how can you be indwelled by the Holy Spirit and a demon at the same time? answer-YOU CAN'T. The Holy Spirit would immediately destroy the demon.

i agree with Schaap, 22 years in the Church I've seen it first hand many times...I know the status quo is to say a Christian cannot be 'demon posessed' but I've seen it happen many times...I've seen it happen many times and I'm not a huge Schaap fan, but he is right on!!
